1968 Chev short wide box
I purchased this out of Portland, Oregon from an estate. It was a short narrow box. The previous owner had the truck for 30 years.
I purchased a short wide box and have had it sand blasted, primed and the bottom painted black. I replaced the drivers side with a new complete box side. The floors and cab mounts are great.
The passenger side box has a small area the front wheel well that was cut out to fit larger tires. I have an original patch to weld in. There are some rust holes on the top rail. The box was stored upside down. I replaced the rear brakes and wheel cylinders.
The truck needs top flat rocker patches in the door siles and there is a small area on the cowl that is rusted. Both are easy fixes. It has B.C.registration.
Runs and drives but needs rear tail light wiring installed.
It is a 350 4 bbl with turbo 350 auto.
5 lug wheels with front disk brakes.
Once I removed the narrow box, we discovered that it must have been a long box at some time. The frame has been shortened and boxed with plates. Rear frame for diff has been C notched. For more info call Paul
