Antique solid brass jelly pail with iron handle, gauges 14" vast x 14" tall overall to the best of the manage (6" high to the top of the container only). This was used on a wood stove in Victorian times, so the outside is somewhat blackened, providing it a good matured aging. It could possibly be brightened, however I would certainly leave that up to the brand-new owner.
