Yes you can buy a cheaper camera and that's exactly what you'll get. A cheap camera that takes crappy pictures, like your phone-cam or your friend's crappy camera.

But if you're proud to show your friends sharp, clear pix and movies that were taken even in poor light conditions, then this is the camera for you. Indoors It takes great pix at low light Birthdays or dance partys or fast moving hockey games. Outdoors it takes sharp pix even in poor light like around a campfire, cloudy, rainy days, even sunsets. And the long zoom lens is so handy at the lake or waaay up the mountain. Remember, it takes pix AND movies in High Definition for viewing on your TV.

So this is a compact, digital, zoom-lens, pocket camera with GPS built-in that can pinpoint where each pic was taken (if you want). The battery lasts for hours and is easily and quickly recharged. It's only 3 years old but was not used much so it's exactly LIKE NEW, really. And it's a give-away price because I paid $400 for it but it's so hard to sell a good camera when the stores are selling junk cameras for the same price.

As a bonus, I'm including an SD memory card and padded carrying case, nice huh?
