All the drums except the SuperTumba have fiber cases bought new in 1977. The cases are in fair-good condition considering their age and
are still functional. The congas have the low ring stands. The bongo drums have a NEW LP bongo stand. I made a new bongo bridge for
the bongos (carved out of Red Oak) because the one that came with the bongos was not wide enough. I still
have the original bridge.

This set is one of a very few complete sets of these drums. Tom Flores -Valje Drums - made less than 90 of the
SuperTumbas. I've only personally seen two other complete sets (other than 'orphaned drums' grouped together
in a collection). I repaired a crack in (not through) the inside of the Supertumba - it was between staves. I sought professional help and guidance throghout the repair and the drum is as good as new. I
took the opportunity to refinish all the drums at that time taking out any scratches and nicks. I refinished them in a water-based clear lacquer. They look new. I tucked LP Handpicked heads
on all the drums a few years ago. For security reasons I etched (with Police etching tool) my D/L # in the chrome of the drums. You have to look close and hard to see it. The drums can always
be traced back to me if lost of stollen. I replaced some of the original Valje lugs with NEW Valje lugs. I still have some extra lugs to go with the set.
