This is an absolutely incredible antique Georgian (or Regency) games table circa early 1800s. The top swivels around then opens, making the table very versatile. The grain on the wood is beautiful and must be seen to be fully appreciated. It may possibly be satinwood. The table also has the original recessed casters.
